Hello everyone!
I’ve come bearing an update! I literally just deleted a very long and very emotional post about all this, because y'know what, I’ll just cut to the chase.
Unconvent will be put on the back burner for now!
You may ask:
Why? - See, I wanna see this story to the end, but right now I can’t. I’ve got my reasons for this, creative reasons, mental health issue reasons, physical health issue reasons, private life reasons, take your pick. Mostly creative reasons though. I’m pretty open about it on my twitter, even if I’m no longer active on tumblr.
What does this mean for the comic? - Honestly, I’m not sure myself. I’m thinking, the next time I update Unconvent, it’ll be in the form of illustrated prose. When that might be? Who knows. I wish I could say something more concrete.
Are you not sad? - I am. Out of all of us, I’m the saddest about this, believe me.
Okay, I respect your decisions but also I’m a fan of your stuff. Is there something else you’re working on that I can check out? - YUP, there is. Multiple things, actually, but only one is public at the moment. I have finally decided to make a story in my absolute favourite genre, which is fantasy! About thieves! And stuff! You can read it for free, I’ll be putting up whole chapters as PDF on gumroad, in fact the first one just went up yesterday!
